Lets Talk Dysport and Injectables

Let’s Talk Dysport and Injectables

Looking for a natural and safe way to look and feel younger? Dysport, like Botox or Xeomin, is an injectable that blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscles, temporarily preventing contraction of the muscles that cause expression lines. Untreated muscles still work normally, so you can continue to express yourself naturally and confidently. Combined with a comprehensive pre- or Rejuvenation program, people young and old can look their best!!!

Dysport is a smaller molecule than Botox and requires more units per treated site but spreads throughout the treated area easily and evenly. While Dysport is FDA-approved for treating facial wrinkles, it is also used for the treatment of chronic migraines, hyperhidrosis (excess sweating), and TMJ, which are a few other options we are exploring for future treatments.

Appointments are typically 15-20 minutes and may require a follow-up 2 weeks after for a touch-up. Once injected, results may begin to take effect in 2-3 days, but it can also take a full 2 weeks to show full results, which is why we recommend planning appropriately for any special events like weddings or photos. Results typically last between 4-6 months for some patients but can require more frequent visits for those with an active metabolism.

All of our injections are performed by Dr. Mazza, who will consult with each patient prior to treatment to discuss desired results and possible complications and determine treatment areas. Call the office at 281-207-0770 to schedule your consultation and appointment for Dysport and other aesthetic and laser procedures to look and feel your best!!
